Q: Where is your stuff made?

A: Most of our products are made in our studio in California. When we can't source something locally, we do our best to make sure to have it made in the U.S.A.

Q: Is the wax you use in your candles Organic or GMO free?

A: A designation of Organic is not possible with any soy wax or any wax made from a liquid vegetable oil that is turned into a solid. Due to the chemical change involved in the process, the wax doesn't meet an Organic certification. When it comes to GMO concerns, more than 90% of the U.S. soybean crop is considered GMO, so it is extremely difficult to have a wax made out of only non GMO soybeans. Our supplier tries their best to secure non GMO beans when possible in the production process. While soy wax isn't ecologically perfect, as a brand, we try to be responsible by using a plant based source for our candles rather than petroleum based parrafin.
